Biophilia, released in 2011, was presented as a series of apps integrating music, visuals, and technology. It is widely recognized as the first 'app album' in popular music.

The dress was made of tulle, not actual swan feathers. Designer Marjan Pejoski used layered fabric to mimic feathers.
